Abstract
To keep up with the rapid advancement of the times, teaching must be carried out innovatively, one of which is by utilizing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a learning medium (Hilyatun, 2020). The use of technology-based media makes learning more accessible and engaging for students. This study aims to develop an Android-based application as an interactive learning media for Grade X environmental change material based on the mangrove ecosystem. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) study, using the steps of the 4D development model. Based on validation results, the application received a feasibility score of 81% from the material expert, which falls into the "highly feasible" category. Validation by the media expert resulted in a score of 94%, also classified as "highly feasible", indicating that the application is considered suitable for use in the learning process. From the practicality test, the application obtained a score of 100% from the teacher and 88% from the students, both of which are in the "highly practical" category. These results indicate that the application is easy to use, engaging, and can be effectively implemented in classroom learning.
