Abstract

Indonesia has forests that make it the country with the third highest biodiversity in the world. One example of plant diversity in Indonesia is moss plants. Moss plants are often found in the highlands, one of which is in the Grandfather Bodo Prigen waterfall area. The diversity of moss plants in this area has not been identified. This research aims to identify moss plants, calculate the diversity index and dominance of moss plants. The research was conducted in the Grandfather Bodo Prigen waterfall area. The results of this research were used as a teaching module for class X students at MA NU Sunan Giri Prigen. The results of research at Grandpa Bodo Waterfall resulted in 12 species and 8 families. The diversity of moss plants in Grandpa Bodo is classified as moderate, with a value of H' = 2.24. The dominance index is relatively low with a value of C = 0.09.
